The Treasurer is responsible for the collection of debts owed to GOHJA and for the payment of all debts incurred by GOHJA. The Treasurer is also responsible for preparing monthly reports of the status of the Association's funds and for preparing a semi-annual, detailed account of all deposits and expenses.

Corresponding Secretary

The Corresponding Secretary is responsible for taking meeting minutes at all Board meetings and distributing them to the Board members. The Corresponding Secretary also keeps all Board meeting attendance records.

Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary is responsible for the calculation, compilation and publication of all points earned by competitors in sanctioned GOHJA shows throughout the show year.

Publicity Secretary

The Publicity Secretary is responsible for the publication of the Association's newsletter, "The Dotted Line", and for general publicity of the Association.

Horse Show Committee

The Horse Show Committee defines the standards by which all GOHJA sanctioned shows are run. All Show Management representatives are required to be members of the Horse Show Committee and attend all Horse Show Committee meetings.

Banquet Committee

The Banquet Committee is responsible for planning and coordination of the Year-End Awards Banquet.

Rules & Regulations Committee

The Rules & Regulations Committee is responsible for maintaining the GOHJA Rule Book, for notifying Board members, officials and members of rule changes, and for reviewing all requests for rule changes.

Hearings Committee

The Hearings Committee is responsible for hearing all protests and charges of violations and for imposing penalties when individuals are found guilty of charges.

Exhibitors Committee

The Exhibitors Committee is the liaison between the exhibitors/general membership and the Board of Directors.

Fund Raising Committee

The Fund Raising Committee is responsible for raising money for the Association.

Benefit Show Committee

The Benefit Show Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the Annual GOHJA Benefit Horse Show.

Stewards Committee

The Stewards Committee is responsible for training, testing and supplying Stewards for the GOHJA sanctioned horse shows.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining the membership records of the Association and for supplying membership applications to prospective members.

Special Awards Committee

The Awards Review Committee is responsible for evaluating candidates for all special awards and for reviewing applications for sponsoring/donating new awards.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is responsible for evaluating candidates for the next year's Board and recommending a slate of candidates to the current Board for approval.
